Jai is seen standing in a hallway looking nervous. He's got his new suit on and is holding a flower. He perks up as he sees Renu coming out of the bathroom wearing a towel and drying her hair after a shower. She asks him why he looks so fidgety, and he explains that it is her birthday today. He feels awkward because all he has to offer her is the flower. (I thought he might feel awkward because she's standing there in a towel, but that doesn't appear to be the case.) She tells him that she treasures the flower very much, and wants to give him something special that they both can share, and she'll talk to her dad about it tonight. Hmmm.

Later that evening we see there's a large gathering of underworld figures at Renu's birthday party. Dad gets up to make a speech, and thanks all of his friends for coming tonight. He says that he has a special announcement to make, so Jai leads the room in a round of applause. Dad proclaims that he is arranging his precious daughter's marriage to Bhujang's son Goga. Goga looks thrilled by this, and the room is filled with applause again. However, Renu doesn't look all that pleased, and sends apologetic glances to Jai who looks completely crushed.

Renu tells her dad that she would have appreciated some sort of heads-up on this, as she might have had other plans. Her dad tells her that sometimes father knows best, and she needs to deal with it. We cut to Karan who is posing as a waiter at the party. He comes over to Jai and tells him that he needs a drink. Jai recognizes him as the taxi driver, but not as Karan. Jai knocks back a stiff drink and tries to compose himself as Bhujang comes into the room to offer his congratulations. Jai recognizes him as Bhairav Singh, and completely forgets his other miseries. He sets off to murder him on the spot, but Karan stops him. He explains that in the city, criminals aren't confronted head-on. They must be trapped cleverly, and any wrong moves can get you sent to prison.

Jai agrees to bide his time for now, but looks like he's barely containing himself. Dirty Cop Suraj tells Bhujang that they've got the place secured, so they're free to cut loose a little bit. The Director from the movie Renu recently made presents a gift to her for her birthday - a large poster of her and Jai from the song they did together. He spots Jai in the crowd, and says they should sing the song that has "taken the world by storm!" Jai tries to decline, but Karan tells him this is the perfect time to say how he feels. He hands Jai another glass of booze to loosen him up, and they roll into the sad version of "Tirche Topiwale."

It is pretty clear to even the most oblivious people in the room that there's something going on between these two, and Goga gets a little suspicious look on his face. When they're done, Bhujang gets a call from Mr. Hatari The Very Wealthy Arms Dealer Guy that they're ready to make a deal this very evening. Bhujang is pleased as punch, and tells Renu's Dad that since he held up his end of the bargain by arranging this marriage, then Bhujang will allow him to name his price to spend on his (Renu's dad) upcoming election. All of this is overheard by Karan as he lurks a short distance away.

A cut to the hotel shows Ranga and Goga knocking on Hatari's door. A figure with his back to us opens it and they have a short conversation. They all agree to head down to the arranged place for the transaction to take be completed. As the man turns, we see it's Karan in disguise (again!) and the real Hatari is taped up in the bathroom!

They arrive at the docks where a huge warehouse is filled with weapons and explosives. They exchange some small talk about how it won't be long before Bhujang controls the countryside, and there will be a lot of destruction. Karan agrees, and throws the suitcase that was supposed to be full of money at them. It turns out to be empty! Karan lights the fuse on a bundle of dynamite and tells them that he agrees - there will be destruction. He lobs the bomb behind him and the building gradually annihilates itself as the munitions are destroyed. Karan does the badass "I'm walking slowly away even though all Hell is breaking loose behind me" strut out of the building, and escapes just in time.

Back at Bhujang's place, the atmosphere is one of ... oh I suppose "tension" is a good word for it. Dirty Cop Suraj stands before Bhujang like a dog that's soiled the carpet as Bhujang glares at him. Everyone else looks scared, except for Ravi and Natasha who are doing a really, really bad job of blending in with the other criminals.
