Well things aren't looking too good for our heroes. The acting commissioner receives a written notice that they are to release the Tridev to a specified location, or else one of the policemen that were taken captive at the canyon will be killed every twenty-four hours until all thirty of them are dead. The Minister says that they must give in to these demands - the lives of the police are too valuable to let them die for these three troublemakers. The temporary commissioner says that he's willing to let the cops die before he lets these men out of his sight.

We cut to Bhujang's Rumpus Room where he is threatening Mathur. He explains the deal they sent to the cops, and the time has come for the first delivery. Bhujang eggs Mathur on, taunting his unwavering devotion to the law and his duty, while even his own family defies him to save their honor. Mathur still doesn't flinch, saying that when he dies, the country will fly the flags at half-mast. When Bhujang dies, not a single tear will be shed. He tells Bhujang to go ahead and shoot, as he is not afraid of death.

Bhujang has more taunting to do. He claims responsibility for Jai Singh's father's murder, and mocks how the law calls him an outlaw for defending the rights of others. He also mentions that Karan is still alive (that gets a shocked look out of Mathur), and is responsible for many of the gang's foiled plans. However, the law considers him dead and keeps him from seeing his family and his fiancée. Bhujang says that he will be the instrument of their deaths, and prepares to fire at Mathur's temple.

One of the other cops jumps forward and says that they'll not catch the Tridev by killing Mathur, and volunteers to take the bullet. Bhujang admires the man's moxie, and agrees. He shoots the cop in the forehead (off-screen, it's okay to watch). We see a stretcher with the body of our heroic cop being dropped off in the police station with a note from Bhujang. He tells them that he wasn't kidding, and is awaiting their next move. The Minister tells the transitory commissioner that this just will not do, and they have to do something to stop Bhujang. He even threatens to resign if his advice goes unheeded.

The interim commissioner agrees, and says they need to think of a plan. He comes up with the brilliant notion to "pretend" to surrender their prisoners, and when their men are released, they'll attack the gang and arrest "those rascals."

We cut to Bhujang's hideout as The Minister strides in confidently. He congratulates Bhujang on his clever plan coming to fruition - the following day, the men will be released and he should be prepared for an attack. Bhujang thanks him for the kind words regarding his brilliance. He says that The Minister is sure to get an award from the government for all that he's done for them (um?). However, Bhujang isn't finished by a long shot! He tells The Minister to take a peek at the third phase of his dastardly plan!

We hear a familiar voice yelling to be let go, then we see poor Divya being dragged before the two men by Raghav. The Minister asks what she's done wrong, and Bhujang explains that her mother knows about the Tridev. She must be kept quiet, so they're taking Divya to make sure she doesn't talk. Don has Natasha by the arm as well, saying that this is Ravi's sweetheart. Finally Ranga shows up with Renu, saying that he's going to take Goga's place as her husband. The Minister was okay with all of this until that last part. He demands to know what they're doing with his daughter! Bhujang tells him that this is insurance to keep The Minister well-behaved. After all, he's betrayed his nation. How can the gang expect him to remain loyal to them?

The Minister is naturally quite upset about this turn of events, and tells Bhujang that he'll bury them all! Bhujang tells him that will only happen if he should survive! The order is given to lock The Minister up with Mathur until further notice!
