Unfortunately Ravi doesn't invite us along with him on his walk, so we're left with the newly engaged couple. Karan leans in to Divya and says that he thinks that instead of Ravi going crazy, he thinks he will. Divya's nonsensical reply does nothing to advance the story, so we cut into our first musical number, "Main Teri Mohabbat." I'll be up front with you here - I didn't much care for the songs in this movie. They all bear the distinct sound of late-80's synth pop, which to me comes across as out of place in this movie. Anyway, let's have a look at our new lovebirds.

Enough of that happiness! Ever the fan of abrupt transitions, we cut from a sunset shot of our new lovers passionately... hugging, to a night shot at the docks again. Don (teehee!) is sitting on a crate as a flurry of activity rages behind him. Men are running all over in a hasty effort to unload the ship. We hear someone urging them to move faster as the police patrols in the area have been increased. We learn that there's a crooked cop on the force (Inspector Suraj!) that is being paid well to keep the cops off their trail, so perhaps they need not worry too much.

Perhaps they've spoken too soon! One of those "improved patrols" makes an appearance - the sound of a machine gun being fired is heard, accompanied by a shot of the massive police force that has arrived. Oh, well I mean we see Karan, alone, against two or three dozen men, shooting a gun into the air. Several goons move to intercept him but Karan, ever the crack shot, blasts their guns out of their hands, leaving the men unharmed and in awe of his marksmanship.

Karan advises them to stay where they are, and fires a few more rounds at the guns that have fallen to the ground. Karan seems to believe the guns are the real problem, and not the 20 to 30 guys looking pretty pissed off at the single man who has probably emptied his rifle's magazine by now. Ranga is there with his brother Goga, and they notice that Karan seems to have forgotten his backup. Karan tells them that he can take care of all of them by himself.

Apparently not, for as soon as he says this, Big Scary Don jumps on him from behind and they begin to wrestle. The last few rounds are squeezed from the gun as the men fight, all the while Don screams at the men to get out of there. They quickly load the last of the shipment onto the trucks and peel out. Goga and Ranga also hit the road as Karan runs out of ammo.

Don notices that he's completely alone with Karan now, and gives him a nervous smile. Karan tosses the now expended rifle to the ground (sounding exactly like a tire iron when it lands!) and stalks over to Don. Don laughs at him and points out that the consignment is gone, and Karan's action had no impact on the delivery. He mockingly tells Karan that his law and his uniform can do nothing to hurt the organization. Karan tells him that he'll show him a thing or two about hurting, and begins punching Don in the head.

After the obviously sped-up fight, Karan tells Don that even a dog can earn a spot on the back seat of a car, but a bag of garbage gets dumped in the trunk. He stuffs Don into the trunk of his car and takes him down to headquarters, hitting as many bumps and swerves as he can. When they arrive at the station, Don is thrown into a cell next to Mr. Arms Dealer and he gives him a dirty look.

Back at Bhujang's headquarters, our leader is furious. He demands to know how Mr. Don got arrested! The men explain about the daring police raid that overwhelmed them at the docks (ahem!). Bhujang says that they'll get Don out of prison legally, but first they've got an informant to deal with.

At Police HQ, Karan tells MAD that he's free to go in exchange for his valid tip, and sends him home. As he leaves, Dirty Cop Inspector Suraj watches him go with an evil effect on the soundtrack! Outside we see MAD walking down the road when a police Jeep pulls up along side him. Inspector Suraj tells him to get in, and he'll take him home. MAD hops into the car (and it sounds like the seat is full of peanut shells) and they speed off.

We cut to the interior of Bhujang's mansion. Suraj and MAD enter the room, and MAD asks where they are. (He just now noticed that they weren't going to his house?) Suraj explains that they're there to meet the Big Boss. Bhujang hands Suraj a stack of cash as a reward, then gets to talking with MAD. Bhujang tells him that he'll let him go, if he tells them what he told Karan. Bhujang has all of the facts, and MAD seems helpless to deny any of it. He tells them not to harm his sister, and he'll do whatever they want him to.

Bhujang tells one of the other henchmen, Raghav, to go with Ramesh (whoa! MAD finally gets a name!) to meet with Inspector Karan. It seems there's some scheming going on here!
