The next day we had a hired car to take eight of us to the downtown area. We got to see Dhobi Ghat, where almost a whole city block is devoted to laundry:
From there we went to the famous Chor Bazaar, a.k.a. the "Thief's Market."

We did a lot of sightseeing that day, but eventually we wore out and had to head home! As we began preparing for my final few days, we made a few more stops. We went back to Juhu Beach one evening, and got to splash around a little bit.
