The police guards burst into the house and call out for Virag. They check the first few rooms, and see nothing. Something causes them to look up, and we zoom down on their faces in another POV shot with a whooshing noise. Outside, Jhil pulls up and leaps out of her car. She dashes into the house and calls out for anyone to answer. We then cut to another Jeep speeding along a rain-drenched street. The ringing of a cell phone causes Bhujbal to answer it. Jhil asks him what's going on - none of the police guards are at the house, and she can't find Virag or Rohan anywhere. She tells him to get there ASAP, and he turns around to do just that.
While
she is waiting, Jhil continues her search of the house. She goes into Rohan's
bedroom, and sees that Rukma is there. Rukma doesn't look so good, and she
slowly lifts her head to reveal she's joined the ranks of the undead spirits.
Jhil wants nothing to do with this, so she yelps and runs downstairs. She stops
short when she sees she is about to run into Jyoti. As she stares at the undead
girl, she feels a hand on her wrist. With the sound of a snarling tiger, Manish
looks up into her face with his dead eyes.
Definitely ready to go now, Jhil makes a break for the back door. She runs outside, and hears Rohan's voice calling to her from the toolshed. Jhil races over and slams the door open. She sees Rohan huddled up in the fetal position in the corner, so she scoops him up. As she does this, we have a cut-away shot showing the front gate to the yard closing itself.
Back
at the shed, Jhil goes back outside to the yard, only to find that quite a few
ghouls have appeared, and they're led by Radz and Murli. Jhil jumps back inside
the shed and latches the door behind her. She takes a few deep panicky breaths
and notices a sound coming from outside. She can hear the sounds of someone
grunting, and what sounds like a dozen zombies being attacked with a hefty piece
of wood.
She looks out the window, and sees Virag pounding on the ghouls with wild abandon. Things seem to be going well, and some of them start to disperse. Jhil steps back outside, and Zombie Murli comes towards her. Virag sees him in time, and whaps him with the stick. The family regroups and runs for the house.
Jhil
and Rohan make it inside first, and she calls for Virag to get the car. As she
runs down the hallway, something either pushes her or pulls her back for a
second to throw her off balance. She tumbles forward and drops Rohan as she hits
the ground. She falls down face to face with the corpse of Virag. The one that
had been behind her reveals himself to be another ghoul, and he begins to move
towards her.
Jhil takes a quick turn towards the door, but sees that the room is practically filled with the undead now. She can no longer move, and feels a hand on her throat. Zombie Virag throws her through the air in my one complaint stunt for the movie. She flies perfectly horizontal for a few feet before smashing through a glass tabletop and through to the floor.
We see her lying among the shards of glass in an overhead shot. We also see the unconscious Rohan lying nearby. As Jhil attempts to recover from her fall, she sees Zombie Virag reaching for the fallen form of her son. Filled with anger, she reaches for a piece of wood from the table and begins pounding on Virag with it. This doesn't seem to bother him much, as he merely stands up and shoves her sideways. This causes her to fly quite a ways across the room, where she lands on the body of the real Virag.
As
she climbs to her feet in revulsion, she is grabbed once again by Zombie Virag,
who resumes his choking. Jhil tries to shove him off of her, but can't manage
it. However, we hear some gunshots from off-screen, where Bhujbal has finally
made his arrival. He fires a few rounds into Virag, but as one might know from
other zombie movies, this has little effect on Virag's abilities.
The rest of the zombies all join Virag in converging on Bhujbal. He fires a few more shots before abandoning the idea since it wasn't doing much to slow the advance.
We see Jhil taking advantage of the distraction and grabbing Rohan. She pushes open a window and steps out into the rain.
