As Jhil races towards the car, we see the body of Bhujbal being thrown through another window by the zombies. When he lands on the mud, Jhil can see that he isn't alive anymore. However, mere moments after he hits the earth, his undead form rises from his body and begins advancing on Jhil and Rohan. She gets into the car and backs up, preparing to turn towards the driveway.

Jhil fumbles with the stick shift, and can't seem to find first gear (it's up and left, Jhil). Just as she gets it working, an arm reaches up from the back seat. It's Zombie Virag, who must have had the spare set of keys on him. Jhil doesn't bother to stop the car, so they spend some time doing tiny circles in the yard, with each pass getting a little more out of control. Eventually the car leaves the yard and smashes headlong into the Spooky Tree.

Jhil is jammed against her seatbelt, and the Zombie Virag is nowhere to be found. She checks on Rohan, who looks unhurt but unconscious in the passenger seat. She unbuckles him and carries him out into the rain.

She turns to look at the house, and sees just about every zombie we've seen so far standing in the yard, looking back at her. She turns to the road, and finds herself nose to nose with Zombie Virag. Just then, the car explodes in a gigantic fireball, engulfing both the car and the Spooky Tree in flames.

As soon as the tree begins to burn, the zombies lose their strength. Tell-tale signs begin showing on their bodies that they are rapidly decomposing and losing their consistency. Some of them just fall apart, while others burn away.

These effects are pretty good. It's a nice blend of CG and traditional make-up effects, and it looks nice. Well, somewhat icky, but you know what I mean.

Jhil begins to shriek very loudly as she clutches Rohan to her chest. Her cries are a very effective blend of emotions, ranging from "Most of my family was undead and tried to kill me," to "Everyone is dead and that is quite a relief." We have a jump cut mid-scream to her sitting bolt upright in a hospital bed. She continues to flip out until another doctor comes over to calm her down.

Jhil gathers herself, and looks over to see Rohan on the cot next to hers. She sags with relief to see that he is in one piece, and in a safe place.

A jump cut to the house shows us the smoking remains of the Spooky Tree, now just a Smokey Spooky Stump. Rajpal comes in from the road with a large tree branch (from a different tree, just to be clear) and slowly walks up to the Stump. He begins hitting the Stump as hard as he can with the branch, more in a symbolic act than an actual destructive one, since the tree was very thick and his blows are doing exactly nothing to it.
