Back at the house, we get another sneaky peek at the place from the boughs of the Spooky Tree. Inside we watch as Virag goes through some day to day routine stuff, like riding his stationary bike and getting his coffee ready for work. He sits down at his laptop to begin writing as Rohan goes for a drive around the house on his tricycle. (Incidentally, this scene is shot almost identically to the Big Wheel cruising shot in The Shining.) Rohan does a few circuits around the living room, and fails to notice the ragged legs of a man standing in the corner, watching him as he passes. He does get an odd hesitation, and looks back at the way he came, but the man is no longer there. Rohan stares intently at the place he thinks he saw someone, and is silent for a while.

We see Virag as he notices things are a little too quiet. He goes looking for Rohan, checking all of the downstairs only to find nothing. Virag heads upstairs and finds looks in Rohan's door to see the tennis ball bouncing steadily against the wall. Note, he doesn't actually see Rohan, just the moving tennis ball. Satisfied that his son is okay, Virag goes back downstairs to work. The camera shows us a little more detail. Rohan is in fact not in the room, and the ball is bouncing itself. As soon as Virag is out of sight, the ball goes back to hovering in midair. A nice little DCL skitters past on the speakers as the scene ends.

Rohan is actually outside, and is exploring the yard near the Spooky Tree. Back indoors, we rejoin Virag as he enters his study and gets back to work. We can also see that he isn't alone - a haggard looking pale woman is standing in the doorway, looking at Virag at his desk. With the sound of bees, she slowly moves behind him until he is obscuring our view of her. A slow and steady POV shot approaches the back of Virag's head until he is filling the screen. With a loud thunk, he takes a nosedive onto the desk. He is awakened by an alarm clock that sits nearby, and he notices that quite some time has passed. He looks through the window and sees Rohan standing by the Spooky Tree, apparently talking to someone in a rather animated way. Rohan sees him looking out the window, and waves to him. Virag decides that he should go meet the person Rohan is chatting with, and heads outside. When asked what he's doing out here, Rohan calmly tells Virag that he's talking with his friends.

Virag is somewhat reassured at this point, and looks up into the tree. He sees no one, so he asks Rohan who his friends are. Rohan tells him their names are Manish and Jyoti. Virag seems impressed that Rohan has even imagined names for his invisible friends. He asks Rohan where they've gone to, and he's told they've "gone to their homes," while Rohan points up to the top of the tree. Virag takes Rohan back into the house where he can keep an eye on him. As he walks away from the tree, there's a loud crashing sound on the soundtrack and another round of DCL to remind us that the tree is serious business.

After Jhil gets home, Virag tells her all about Rohan's little adventure by the tree, and Rohan insists that Manish and Jyoti are real people. Jhil comments that they have another little storyteller coming up in the family. After some good-natured ribbing on Virag, they send Rohan off to play.

That evening, we see a motorcycle pulling up near the house. Upon closer inspection, we see Radz resting her head on the back of the driver. He stops the bike and tells her they're at her place, and she says for him to be quiet - she doesn't want Jhil to know what they are up to. Radz heads off down the dark path from the road to the house by herself.

About halfway down the path, Radz hears a crunching sound beneath her feet. She looks down and sees she's stepped on something made of glass, but it's hard for us to tell what it is. She begins walking again, but hears a soft sob coming from the tall grass to her left. She walks over to where she heard the noise, but there's nothing there. She looks around some of the trees but sees nothing, so she heads back to the house. She only makes it a few steps before hearing what sounds like keys jingling in the same area as the sobbing was before. More curious now, she once again takes a few steps over to the general area of the disturbance. As she leans around a tree, a hand shoots out of the darkness and grabs her by the neck.

Radz shrieks and breaks free of the grip. Turning towards the house, she runs a few steps before her path is blocked by another dark human shape. She almost hits it before dodging out of the way. Now completely terrified, she runs like hell towards the house, only to find the bloody corpse of her boyfriend Murli lying on the ground in front of the gate. She screams at the top of her lungs, and startles herself awake. Yep, she was dreaming on the back of the motorcycle. She finds herself sitting on the back, still with Murli, and still on the road. She gets off the bike and heads for the house, and gets a weird moment when Murli says some of the same dialog that he had in her dream. She sees the glass object on the path, for real this time. She also hears the sound of keys in the woods, and the sobbing. Radz is in no mood for this, so she runs as fast as she can to the door. The sounds from the woods intensify, scaring Radz out of her wits. She drops the keys as she tries to open the door, and nearly jumps out of her skin when it opens from the other side. Jhil asks her what's got her so upset, but Radz just says it's nothing.
