Just as a heads-up here, this is about where I was very confused as to what type of movie this was supposed to be. As you're about to see, Raju is very driven when it comes to convincing Rajesh of his heritage, even to the point of threatening and imposing himself on Rajesh and his family. Not that I know what it is like to meet a father I thought was dead, but I would think that this is not the approach I would take.
Raju's tone changes considerably and he gets misty-eyed when he is face to face with his father. He repeatedly tells Rajesh that his name is Raju and he is from India. Rajesh doesn't see what the big deal is, so Raju mentions that he is Meghna Saxena's son. Rajesh recognizes the name (I'd hope so!) and happily brings him into his private offices. This is despite the fact he's just assaulted two guards and was about to beat up two others.
Rajesh
tells Raju that he and Meghna were good friends 25 years ago, but he's lost
touch with her and wasn't able to see her again. Raju asks if he couldn't see
her, or didn't want to. Rajesh dodges the question and asks how she's doing now.
Raju explains that she has passed away, making Rajesh look sorrowful. He then
follows up with a series of questions about Raju's dad, while Raju replies with
some amusing answers. He finally breaks the news to Rajesh that he is in fact
his son.
Rajesh is none too pleased to hear this, and refuses to believe it. He accuses Raju of coming after him for an inheritance, but Raju tries to explain that he just wants his father to recognize him as his son. Rajesh asks for proof, and Raju produces a picture of Rajesh with his mother from over 20 years ago. Rajesh tells Raju that he's been very clever about all this but he doesn't buy it. We finally get to the obvious answer when Raju tells Rajesh that he will be happy to take part in a DNA test to prove his claim, but Rajesh refuses and asks him to leave.
As
a last desperate plea, Raju tells him that he understands Rajesh's position. He
has a family, a business, and a reputation to look out for. All he wants is for
Rajesh to call him his son once, and he'll be out of his hair forever. Rajesh
continues to refuse, and asks what does Raju think he can do to make him accept
him. Raju tells him that if he is adamant in believing that he is Rajesh's son,
then he will "shake the very foundations of his family." He then throws an
ornamental metal ball at the large framed portrait of Rajesh's family hanging on
the wall, shattering the glass pane covering it. He then stalks out of the room
in a threatening manner.
We next see Robin and Rajesh coming out of the building. Robin is laughing while Rajesh tries to explain the seriousness of the situation. Robin is sure that Raju is a fraud just out for money. Rajesh is worried though, since Raju was ready to take a DNA test to prove his claim. He admits to having a relationship with Meghna but was too afraid of his father's reaction if he were to marry her. As it turns out, he had already had an arrangement for Rajesh to be married to someone else, making any hope of being with Meghna out of the question.
Robin
tells him that if Rajesh's family were to catch wind of this news, they'd kick
him out and he would be ruined forever as a businessman. His only real advice
for Rajesh is to do whatever he can to quietly pack Raju off back to India and
hope that he doesn't come around again stirring up trouble.
Rajesh heads home to his palatial estate. Seriously, this place is huge. As he's walking through the giant living room, he hears a familiar voice calling to him from the sofa. Raju has showed up here, and is threatening to show his proof to the other family members to see what they think about all this.
