Raju asks if Grandpa is home, and goes off into the house calling out for him. Rajesh chases after him and they both exit the shot. An ominous chord strikes as we see Rinkie looking at the old picture of her father with Meghna. Rajesh comes back into the room and tells her not to believe anything Raju says. She defiantly tells him that this picture can't be a fake (why not?), and repeatedly tells Rajesh "shame on you Daddy!" Rajesh protests that he is not what they think he is, and Bunty agrees. Rajesh is not the man they thought he was at all. Raju begins to laugh as Smita comes into the room. Rajesh tells her not to believe anything Raju has told her. She tells Raju that she has lost faith in the man she used to worship. Raju tells her that it was because of Rajesh that his own mother has died. Grandpa comes into the room at this point and we see a similar process.

Grandpa is so infuriated that he tells the housekeeping staff to throw him out. Outside we see Raju and Rajesh on the driveway as suitcases and other sundries are thrown off the balcony above. The gatekeeper tells him that he no longer recognizes him as a member of the family, and if he comes back to the house he'll be beaten with a stick. Raju tells Rajesh not to worry, they can sell off Rajesh's belongings to get some money. Rajesh begins strangling Raju, but we jump cut to the bedroom where Rajesh is strangling his pillow in his sleep. See? It was all a dream. Whew!

Smita is alarmed by the violent nightmares that Rajesh has been having, and runs off to get Grandpa to try and calm him down. The family doctor is summoned to the house where he finally manages to get Rajesh under control. He explains to the family that he is disturbed, but seems to be unwilling to tell anyone what is upsetting him so much. He tells the family that he'll write a prescription for stress medicine and that he should be fine in the morning. The family leaves the room and Rajesh tries to go back to sleep. However the phone next to the bed rings before he can doze off. When he answers it, he finds Raju on the line. Somehow Raju knows that the doctor paid him a visit, and he reassures him that he will be all better when he sees his "big boy" the next day. Rajesh asks how he got this phone number, but Raju just laughs and hangs up.

One thing I should mention here. Every time Raju shows up to embarrass or otherwise inconvenience Rajesh, the happy little tune for "Carbon Copy" plays on the soundtrack. Again, this is confusing. Raju is doing some serious threatening in most of those scenes and is acting rather sadistic. Why they thought to include the cheery little tune for each of these is perplexing to me. Perhaps it's to show the audience that "hey we're just playing around, this isn't all that horrible," but at least to me it doesn't work that way.

The next day we join Rajesh at the office as he's making his rounds and greeting his staff. He finds the lobby filled with people, and asks one of the other folks standing around what's going on. He explains that there are interviews that day for an available manager position. Of course, among those being interviewed is Raju. (Cue "Carbon Copy") Raju greets him with a cheery "Good morning, sir!" Rajesh yanks him up by the arm and leads him away from the other candidates.

Raju tells him that he is disappointed that Rajesh would hire a stranger for the job when he's got a capable family member there to take on the task. He tells Rajesh that the only reason Rajesh is the boss is because he inherited the company from his father, so Raju is merely doing the same. He then starts loudly thanking Rajesh for the job and shaking his hand vigorously. He calls out to the other people waiting that he got the job as the rest of them look disappointed.
