In
a fit of frustration, Rajesh takes Raju outside and sits on the edge of a
fountain. Rajesh asks Raju what it is that he wants. I guess he hasn't been
paying attention, since Raju asks for the same thing he's wanted all along - to
be taken home and be made part of the family. Rajesh tries to explain that it
isn't going to be that easy to just introduce his extra son to the family. Raju
tells him that he's got seven days to think of a way to do it gracefully before
he marches in and does it himself. He tells Rajesh to put him up someplace nice
while he waits for the week.
Rajesh
turns to Robin for help. He asks him to accommodate Raju for the week since he
doesn't want Grandpa to see the hotel charges he would incur on the family's
credit card. Robin doesn't want to do it initially, but Rajesh lays on the guilt
until he agrees to go along. He tells Robin that Raju is waiting in the car, and
they go out to meet him. After the introductions Robin and Raju head up to the
house where they learn that Sonia happens to be Robin's daughter.
Robin is surprised that the two know each other, and is a little more concerned that Sonia seems to be far from unhappy that Raju will be staying with them for a week. She takes him off to show him to his room. While there, Robin barges in and tells them they are not to be spending time together while they are in his house. So, to remedy that situation Raju suggests to Sonia that they go out instead.
She demurely agrees to his offer, and they head out to perform our next musical number, "Aankhein Pyari Hai."

This is a catchy song. What struck me as entertaining was several of the scenes are shot in public places (like a park and an intersection) where they've not cleared out the people. So while our two lovebirds are zooming around and being all romantic there are large groups of people pointing and smiling at them. Oh, and Sonia has cool shiny blue pants for part of it. Can't beat shiny pants.
Well
after all that is done, we jump cut to a group of people we've not seen
before in a pool hall. Knowing what I do about the movie, I'll go ahead and
use names where appropriate. We see Vishal walking down the rows of tables
and talking on a cell phone. He is grabbed by a rough looking man who holds
Vishal's neck captive with a baseball bat. Apparently Vishal has been
abusing a generous credit line at the place, and Bat Boy has a complaint
about it. Bat Boy's brother comes out to try and settle things down a
little, but Bat Boy is reluctant to do so, and wants to kill Vishal.
Vishal points out that if they kill him, they'll never get their money back. Realizing the ultimate wisdom here, they let him go with a warning. Vishal goes downstairs where there is a bowling alley. Who should he find there but Raju enjoying himself. Vishal steps in and takes the ball from Raju and tells him to get lost. Raju notices that Vishal is Indian, and mentions that back home it was more polite to offer someone else a turn first. Vishal isn't interested in lectures. Raju then mentions that it's also expected to try and resolve conflicts with words first, but if that doesn't work it's time for an ass kicking. He punches Vishal in the head and throws him down the alley (in a very, very realistic looking manner I might add) where he knocks all the pins down. Raju tells someone to mark down his score. Not exactly as memorable as "I'll be back," but we're getting there.
